Reports on control of forest fires
Project FireFight Southeast Asia is seeking to secure the essential policy reform at national & regional level within South East Asia that provides a legislative and economic basis for controlling harmful anthropogenic forest fires. It undertook studies focusing on three areas of fire management: community-based fire management, legal and regulatory aspects of forest fires, and the economics of fire use in South East Asia.
Newsletter "Burning ISSUES" "Burning ISSUES" is an occasional newsletter published by Project FireFight in cooperation with the joint CIFOR and ICRAF (International Center for Research on Agroforestry) fire research project aimed for clarifying issues about fire management, which are often discussed but not necessarily understood.
